Now, with crashes and risers (I do those in audio clips) I somehow got those fixed by 'fit to tempo'. Yes I agree that shrinking/stetching thing is really annoying and confusing, and yes you do understand what i'm trying to ask. Hopefully I understood your problem correctly. HOWEVER, this does not work correctly in FLS if you start playing the track from the middle of a tempo change. In the end after it has played through the tempo changes the audio clips involved look weirdly too long or short depending on how you automated the tempo but FLS won't mind that and still handles it correctly. wav without effects, that wav file was instantly put in the playlist correctly and I just linked it back to the original mixer slot and enabled the effects on it, tried to play it alone and it played nicely along with the tempo changes, it stretches and shrinks and looks weird, true, but that's essential for it to work properly. Then I exported the test lead's mixer channel via mixer export to. I automated the tempo to go from like 150bpm to 100bpm and back to 150bpm at the end of the clip. Harha:I rarely do tempo changes so I have no experience about this problem but I did a quick try and all went well.
