The Mercedeses in this film was refered to as Mercedes-Benz AAV(All Activity Vehicle), probly because this still was such a new SUV at the time.
When the dino eats peices of the ml and the driver tried to hide from the dinosaur underneath the drivers foot compartment the dino ate something i don't know what it was and it caused the airbag to go off! I dont know if here someone bought the book''mercedes m-class'' where they(mercedes-benz)shows how the car was made, designed, tested before they sold the car.there's a special part dedicated to the customize of the ml for the jurassic park movie, there's designs for the style that is finally used in the movie, pics of how they build this customized ml and alot of thinks interestings about the movie and the ml.if someone boughts this book please try to scan or take pics of the sketches before the final design and how the car was built. When you see one (or N cars) in a movie, they usually have lots of identical (or nearly) cars for use, especially when they have to destroy them. Pictures may have taken before the movie, or (much more probable) they made more than two ML. I don´t understand, this is the first ML debut, and in the movie all 2 Ml´s got destroyed.
